On July 25, 2025, the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) issued an update regarding EU Commission Charts Path to Future-Proof Standardization System. The EU-Normungsverordnung has been in place for over ten years and will be revised to address changing demands such as fast technology cycles, global competition, and digital processes. DIN supports the reform goals of the European Commission to make standardization more agile, efficient, and future-proof while maintaining international compatibility and high quality standards.
