ED, Kolkata has filed a 5th Supplementary Prosecution Complaint (PC) under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Kolkata against 29 accused persons/entities on 30.11.2024 in the matter of illegal appointment of Primary Teacher. The Hon’ble Court has taken cognizance of the same on 30.11.2024. Total seizure and attachment at present stand at Rs. 151.26 Crore (approx.)

"On 03/12/2024, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued an update regarding ED, Kolkata has filed a 5th Supplementary Prosecution Complaint (PC) under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Kolkata against 29 accused persons/entities on 30.11.2024 in the matter of illegal appointment of Primary Teacher. The Hon’ble Court has taken cognizance of the same on 30.11.2024. Total seizure and attachment at present stand at Rs. 151.26 Crore (approx.). This follows earlier actions including the arrest of seven individuals, including Partha Chatterjee."
