Brief

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Jalandhar Zonal Office conducted a series of search operations on October 17, 2024, at fourteen locations across Mohali, New Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Mumbai. The searches were carried out under the provisions of Section 37 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999, in connection with an investigation into M/s Vuenow Marketing Services Ltd., M/s Vuenow Infotech Pvt. Ltd., and M/s Zebyte Rental Planet Private Ltd.


The search operations led to the recovery and seizure of Indian currency worth Rs. 30.50 lakh, foreign currency including Euros, USD, Singapore Dollars, and Swiss Francs, as well as digital devices and incriminating documents. The investigation is ongoing, with further probe underway into these companies in relation to their alleged receipt of huge and irregular foreign inward remittances.
