"On "25/04/2025", the "Enforcement Directorate (ED)" issued an update regarding "ED, Jaipur has arrested Mahesh Joshi, Ex-Minister, PHED, Rajasthan on 24.04.2025 under the provisions of PMLA, 2002. The Hon’ble Special Court, Jaipur has granted 04 days ED custody of the accused Mahesh Joshi". This arrest was made in connection with an investigation into bribery and irregularities involving contractors Padamchand Jain and Mahesh Mittal, who allegedly paid bribes to PHED officials. Further investigation is ongoing."
