ED, Delhi Zonal Office has filed Supplementary Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Amanatullah Khan and Smt Maryam Siddiqui under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 on 29.10.2024 in the case of irregularities committed during his tenure as Chairman of Delhi Waqf Board from 2016-2021

"On "30/10/2024", the "Enforcement Directorate (ED)" issued an update regarding "ED, Delhi Zonal Office has filed Supplementary Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Amanatullah Khan and Smt Maryam Siddiqui under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 on 29.10.2024 in the case of irregularities committed during his tenure as Chairman of Delhi Waqf Board from 2016-2021.

The ED initiated investigation based on FIRs registered by CBI and ACB under various sections of PC Act, 1988 and IPC, 1860 for alleged illegalities in appointing Group C and D employees at DWB, causing a wrongful loss to the government exchequer. The investigation revealed large cash transactions involving Amanatullah Khan's associates and his own assets disproportionate to known sources of income."
