ED, Bhopal has provisionally attached movable and immovable assets worth Rs. 10.77 Crore belonging to Sunil Kumar, then Vice Chancellor, Rakesh Singh Rajput, then Registrar and Hrishikesh Verma, then finance controller of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki University (RGPV), Kumar Mayank, Ramkumar Raghuvanshi, then bank officials and other private persons involved in RGPV scam under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in relation to the case of embezzlement of funds of RGPV University.

"On "17/03/2025", the "Enforcement Directorate (ED)" issued an update regarding "ED, Bhopal has provisionally attached movable and immovable assets worth Rs. 10.77 Crore belonging to Sunil Kumar, then Vice Chancellor, Rakesh Singh Rajput, then Registrar and Hrishikesh Verma, then finance controller of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki University (RGPV), Kumar Mayank, Ramkumar Raghuvanshi, then bank officials and other private persons involved in RGPV scam under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in relation to the case of embezzlement of funds of RGPV University.". The provisional attachment is a result of an ED investigation initiated on the basis of an FIR registered by Gandhi Nagar Police Station, Bhopal. This action is part of ongoing efforts to recover embezzled funds worth Rs. 19.48 Crore."
