"On September 19, 2024, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued an update regarding EASA issues follow-up Airworthiness Directive for Trent XWB engines. The new directive supersedes AD 2024-0174-E and addresses fuel manifold main fuel hose degradation during engine refurbishment, a condition identified through in-service and in-shop inspections following the incident with Cathay Pacific flight CX383."
