On "21/12/2023", the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) issued an update regarding "Drug classification: BfArM publishes official version of the ATC classification with defined daily doses". The 21st updated version of the Anatomisch-Therapeutisch-Chemischen Klassifikation (ATC-Klassifikation) will be in effect from January 1, 2024. This update enables the calculation of daily medication costs and facilitates comparisons between drugs.
