Summary:

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published its guidance on the application of the Chapter I prohibition in the Competition Act 1998 to horizontal agreements. The guidance was consulted on in draft form, and the CMA has now published its final version. The guidance aims to help businesses understand what they need to do to comply with competition law when making agreements with other businesses. The CMA also consulted on a separate guidance document on the application of the Chapter I prohibition to environmental sustainability agreements, which will be published separately.
