Discussion of new non-coverage management and actual loss insurance reform measures

"On December 26, 2024, the Ministry of Health and Welfare convened the 12th meeting of the 'Essential Care and Insurance Expert Committee' to discuss reform measures for non-coverage management and actual loss insurance. The committee, consisting of experts and patient organizations, discussed the need for a fundamental change in the current system due to inadequate management mechanisms, leading to overuse and uneven compensation between medical institutions."
