Professor Rowland Cao has been appointed as the Chair of the Science Advisory Council (SAC) by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for a term of 3 years from January 8, 2025 until January 7, 2028, according to the Governance Code on Public Appointments.
