"On January 28, 1981, Turkey became one of the first countries to sign the '108th Agreement on the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data'. In 2006, the European Council designated January 28 as 'Data Protection Day'. This year, our institution and Bartın University will collaborate to host a conference on January 17, 2025, at Bartın University's Education-İİBF Conference Hall." The conference aims to commemorate 44 years of data protection from a privacy perspective amidst the age of artificial intelligence.
