Summary:

The Brazilian Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) has integrated with the Global Brand Database (GBD), an online database of trademarks by the World Intellectual Property Organization (OMPI). This collaboration contributes to the consolidation of INPI in the international intellectual property system, as defined in its 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. The GBD portal is available in over ten languages, and can be accessed through the link https://branddb.wipo.int/pt (in Portuguese). The database consists of over 5 million records of trademarks from diverse sources, including 76 distinct data sources and 63 million registrations.
