A prospective cohort study of over 85,000 adults in the UK found that individuals engaging in light- and moderate-to-vigorous-intensity daily physical activity had a lower risk of cancer than those who were more sedentary. The study suggests that incorporating walking into daily routines may reduce cancer risk, regardless of intensity.
