"On 28/11/2024, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) issued an update regarding CSIRO electrolyser pilot demonstrates efficiency and durability at Bluescope Steel Plant. The trial of CSIRO's tubular solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) technology at BlueScope's Port Kembla Steelworks in New South Wales successfully clocked 1000 hours of operation, producing hydrogen with a substantial reduction in electricity required, paving the way for industrial decarbonisation."
