Crime Reduction Unit arrest three people for trafficking offences

On March 21, 2025, the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) made an arrest in Whitehorse. Three individuals were apprehended on Main Street for alleged drug trafficking offenses. A vehicle search led to the confiscation of illicit substances suspected to be fentanyl, a scale, and various weapons, including bear spray. Two suspects, an adult male and female, were released with an undertaking to attend court, while 34-year-old Jared Skookum was held in custody on related charges.
