"On 13/02/2025, the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) issued an update regarding CRE CoRDiS sanctions Danske and Equinor for breach of European regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency – REMIT – on the wholesale gas market. The Commission's Committee for Dispute Resolution and Sanctions (CoRDiS) imposed fines totaling €12 million, with €8 million for Danske and €4 million for Equinor, following an investigation into alleged market manipulation in 2019 and 2020."
