"On 16/10/2024, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued an update regarding CPSC Approves New Federal Safety Standard for Infant Support Cushions to Prevent Infant Deaths and Serious Injuries. The CPSC has approved a new federal mandatory standard to improve the safety of infant support cushions. The rule sets performance standards to reduce suffocation, entrapment, and fall injuries and deaths associated with these products."
