Court orders Unimed Jundiaí to provide prosthetics and orthoses, among other equipment, for elderly people with contracts prior to the 1998 law on private health care plans and insurance

On 11/02/2025, the National Consumer Protection Agency (Procon) issued an update regarding Court orders Unimed Jundiaí to provide prosthetics and orthoses, among other equipment, for elderly people with contracts prior to the 1998 law on private health care plans and insurance. The court also ordered Unimed Jundiaí to pay a collective moral indemnization of R$50,000 and a fine of R$10,000 for each non-compliance from the sentence date onwards.
