Consultation opens on the Draft Shared Asset Guidelines

"On March 14, 2025, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) published proposed changes to the Shared Asset Guidelines, along with an explanatory statement seeking stakeholder feedback. The updates aim to give effect to the National Electricity Amendment (Regulated stand-alone power systems) Rule 2022, which removed barriers for DNSPs to provide stand-alone power systems to customers, and requires a review of the Shared Asset Guidelines to account for net positive payments from SAPS generation."
