The proposal involves pooling surplus solar from rooftops into batteries to redistribute during evening peaks and trade on the wholesale market, generating profit that Ausgrid will share with trial customers. The trial is expected to involve around 32,000 customers in two NSW regions: Charmhaven and Mascot/Botany."
