"On 10/12/2024, the Competition Commission of India issued an update regarding Commission approves the acquisition of certain stake in Bagmane Developers Private Limited and Bagmane Rio Private Limited (collectively, Target Entities) by BREP Asia III India Holding Co VIII Pte. Ltd. (Acquirer)". The Acquirer is an affiliate of funds advised or managed by affiliates of Blackstone Inc., with its principal activity being investment holding and related activities. The Commission approved the Proposed Combination involving the acquisition of a stake in the Target Entities engaged in commercial real estate development, leasing, and operation, as well as hospitality services and renewable power generation.
