On December 2024, the Financial Activities Control Council (Coaf) signed Technical Cooperation Agreements (ACTs) with the Union General Controller (CGU) and the National Public Security Secretariat (Senasp). The agreements aim to strengthen the system of preventing money laundering and financing terrorism. The ACT with CGU focuses on protecting federal public assets, preventing corruption, and combating related crimes. The Senasp agreement targets promoting and improving police officer qualification in financial intelligence, increasing investigative efficiency for organized crime cases.
