The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has issued a letter to Calor Gas Limited regarding a breach of two orders. The CMA's Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation Order and the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation (Metered Estates) Order require LPG providers to notify customers in writing that they are eligible to switch, between one month before and one month after the end of their exclusive supply contract. Calor Gas Limited failed to notify 5,923 customers of their rights between July 2023 and October 2023, despite being required to do so. The company has since notified all affected customers.
