Climate adaptation and social vulnerabilities are debated in the 5th CNMA

On 07/05, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change issued an update regarding Climate adaptation and social vulnerabilities are debated in the 5th CNMA. The director of Políticas para Adaptação e Resiliência à Mudança do Clima, Inamara Mélo, highlighted the need to address the different realities of states and municipalities to effectively adapt to climate change, which affects 83% of Brazilian municipalities over the past decade, resulting in billions of losses.
