Clarifying the Disbursement Schedule and Requirements for the Inclusion Allowance

Summary:

On January 3, 2024, the Italian National Institute of Social Security (INPS) released Message n. 25, providing information on the timing of the Inclusion Allowance (Assegno di inclusione). According to the message, the allowance can be recognized starting from January 2024 for applications submitted by January 2024, provided that the Digital Activation Pact (Patto di attivazione digitale, or PAD) is signed by the same month and has a positive outcome of the investigation. Payments will be made by:

January 2024: for applications submitted by January 7, 2024, with PAD signed by the same date and positive investigation outcome
February 15, 2024: for applications submitted between January 8 and January 31, 2024, with PAD signed by January 31, 2024, and positive investigation outcome
* February 2024: for applications submitted from February 2024 onwards, with payment made by the 15th of the following month.
