On February 13, 2025, CISA released a cybersecurity advisory regarding ransomware actors exploiting unpatched SimpleHelp Remote Monitoring and Management vulnerabilities. Organizations using SimpleHelp RMM versions 5.5.7 and earlier are advised to search for evidence of compromise, apply mitigations such as patching CVE-2024-57727 or implementing workarounds, and follow CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog to prevent or respond to potential compromises.
