CISA Publishes Guide to Support University Cybersecurity Clinics

Summary:

The Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics aims to strengthen the digital defenses of non-profits, hospitals, municipalities, small businesses, and other under-resourced organizations by training students from diverse backgrounds and academic expertise. The clinics act as force-multipliers for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) mission to support target-rich, resource-poor organizations. To support these clinics, CISA is publishing a resource guide, increasing community awareness, engaging with clinics through regional Cybersecurity Advisors, and exploring grant opportunities. The clinics also serve as a talent pipeline for the cybersecurity community, with CISA working to include them in their recruiting efforts.
