Brief

On July 8, 2025, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued an update regarding CISA Issues ED 25-02: Mitigate Microsoft Exchange Vulnerability. This emergency directive addresses CVE-2025-53786, a vulnerability in Microsoft Exchange server hybrid deployments, which poses significant risk to organizations operating hybrid-joined configurations without the April 2025 patch guidance. FCEB agencies are directed to implement required mitigations by August 11, 2025, and CISA strongly encourages all organizations to address this vulnerability.
