China promotes data labeling to spur AI development

On Jan. 13, China unveiled a guideline to nurture its data-labeling industry for AI development. The guideline aims to have the industry make significant strides in innovation and scale by 2027, with plans to cultivate influential companies and establish data-labeling hubs nationwide. To achieve this, the country will implement favorable policies and create national standards for related professions.
