CGU’s preventive action with DNIT/PA generates savings of R$ 3.5 million

The Controladoria-Geral da Uniu00e3o (CGU) has released the results of an analysis on the processual documentation of the RDC Eletru00f4nico nu00ba 591/2023, which aims to execute road works on the BR-308/PA highway in the state of Paru00e1. The analysis was conducted using a robotic tool developed by the CGU, Alice, which detects potential risks in public procurement. The audit identified inconsistencies in the estimated budget, which could lead to overpricing and superfaturamento. As a result, the Superintendu00eancia Regional do DNIT in Paru00e1 took corrective measures, reducing the budget for both lots (Lote 1 and Lote 2) and saving R$ 3,516,788.66. This work is considered a preventive action by the CGU, aimed at correcting errors before they have a negative impact.
