The Ministry of Controller-General of the Union (CGU) will participate in the opening ceremony of the 13th Brazilian Congress of Regulation, held on October 18, 2023, in Su00e3o Paulo. The event, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Regulatory Agencies (ABAR), will bring together public authorities, representatives of the Legislative, private sector, and academia to discuss regulation. Additionally, the Secretary of Federal Control Internal (SFC/CGU) will participate in a panel discussion on regulatory governance and infranational regulation, highlighting the QualiREG initiative, a pioneering project of the CGU in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (PNUD) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) aimed at improving institutional and regulatory capacity in Brazil.
