The Controladoria-Geral da Uniu00e3o (CGU) has fined and ruled Davati Medical Supply LLC as non-compliant for presenting invalid proposals to the Ministry of Health. The proposals, which aimed to sell up to 400 million doses of Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine, were deemed fraudulent as the manufacturer did not authorize any representative to sell the vaccines in Brazil. These entities were also fined R$ 6,000.00 each.
