CGU and Federal Police sign agreement to combat crimes of corruption and embezzlement of public resources

The Minister of the Controller-General, Vinu00edcius Marques de Carvalho, and the Director-General of the Federal Police, Andrei Augusto Passos Rodrigues, signed a joint ordinance on October 7th in Brasu00edlia, creating the Integrated CGU-PF Group to Combat Corruption and Diverted Public Resources within the Federal Executive Branch. This partnership aims to combine the experiences of both institutions and their agents to combat corruption. The initiative is part of the government's commitment to transparency and governance, and it has already achieved significant results, such as the detection of over 63 cases of corporate responsibility and the application of R$ 183.5 million in fines. The partnership will focus on improving the investigation and sanction processes, as well as increasing coordination and cooperation between government agencies.
