On March 09, 2023, the Comptroller General of Brazil issued an update regarding "CGU and AGU sign a leniency agreement with Minerva S.A.". The company agreed to pay R$ 22.040.373,16 as part of a settlement for paying undue advantages to agrifiscal agents linked to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA). This is one of over 30 agreements signed by the CGU since 2017, resulting in a return of more than R$ 19.3 billion to public coffers.
