On July 30, 2025, the Comptroller General of Brazil issued an update regarding CGU and AGU sign a leniency agreement with companies operating in the naval and energy industry. The agreement valued at R$728 million was signed with Seatrium Limited, Jurong Shipyard Pte. Ltd., and Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz, who will implement measures to prevent bribe payments to Brazilian government officials. This is the 34th leniency agreement since 2017, resulting in a return of over R$20 billion to public coffers.
