On March 11, 2025, Transport Canada issued an update regarding "Canada expands air transport agreement with Senegal". The updated agreement now allows airlines from both countries to operate direct flights to any destination in each other's territory. Additionally, it includes a capacity allowance of 14 weekly passenger flights and 10 weekly all-cargo flights for the airlines of each country, providing greater flexibility for all-cargo services.
