The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Accountability Authority during a bilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The objective of this MoU is to promote cooperation between the two Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) to strengthen their professional capacity and improve methodologies in public sector audit. The agreement aims to facilitate exchange of knowledge and experiences, conduct capacity development programs, and enhance external audit practices. CAG Girish Chandra Murmu stated that the MoU reaffirms shared values and goals between the institutions, while President Humaid Obaid Khalifa emphasized its importance in strengthening bilateral relationships through mutual cooperation.
