CAG of India Signs MoU with the General Court of Audit Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Court of Audit, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (SAI Saudi Arabia), to strengthen cooperation and exchange of expertise in public sector auditing. The MoU aims to conduct joint training programs on financial, performance, and compliance audits, as well as share audit manuals and methodologies. This agreement is expected to enhance the cooperation between the two SAIs, improve their external audit practices, and encourage the exchange of knowledge and information. The CAG of India and the President of SAI Saudi Arabia expressed their commitment to a strong bilateral relationship, with the support and cooperation between the two SAIs expected to energize capacity development initiatives.
