On November 27, 2024, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) issued an update regarding CADE condemns company and individuals for gun jumping in the agricultural storage sector. The council found NovaAgri Infra-Estutura de Armazenagem e Escoamento Agrícola S.A. and six individuals guilty of consuming the transaction before approval, constituting gun jumping. The condemneds were ordered to pay a fine of R$ 1,832,011.87 for this infraction.
