On November 11, 2024, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) issued an update regarding CADE condemns cartel formed by individuals and legal entities in Infraero bids. Six companies and six individuals were found guilty of forming a cartel in bidding processes promoted by Empresa Brasileira de Infraestrutura Aeroportuária (Infraero), resulting in losses to free competition and the public administration, with total fines exceeding R$ 6.9 million.
