"On November 13, 2024, the Brazilian government presented its new Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The NDC sets a commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 59% to 67% by 2035 compared to 2005 levels, equivalent to 850 million to 1.05 billion tons of CO2 equivalent."
