The Brazilian Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship, Silvio Almeida, has strengthened diplomatic and human rights ties with the Colombian government. A collaboration agreement was signed with Colombia's Minister of Equality and Equity, Francia Mu00e1rquez, to develop projects over the next five years, focusing on the defense of rights for people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, migrants, the elderly, and those living on the streets. The agreement includes exchanging information on best practices for LGBTQIA+ employment, employment quotas for transgender individuals, data collection, and social studies, as well as developing strategies for child and adolescent migration, elder prevention, and inclusion initiatives.
