"On 27/06/2025, the Department for Work and Pensions issued an update regarding Boost to mental health services from thousands of extra staff. Over 6,700 additional mental health workers have been recruited since July, bringing the government more than halfway towards its target of hiring an extra 8,500 staff members by the end of this Parliament. The recruitment milestone comes ahead of the publication of the upcoming 10 Year Health Plan."
