The report provides an overview of the Bank's financial positions as of 16 October 2024. The Sterling liabilities stood at £729 million, with a balance of £730 million in reserves. The notes in circulation amounted to £89,197, and £89,103 were outstanding sterling assets.


In terms of short-term open market operations, the bank conducted - Short-term repo for £38,880, followed by £39,470. Long-term operations included an indexed long-term repo of £4,710 and £4,275. Additionally, a contingent term repo facility was established with Term Funding Scheme incentives for SMEs at £118,162.


The sterling denominated bond holdings totaled £14,878, while the Loan to Asset Purchase Facility held £695,024. The foreign currency liabilities consisted of public securities issued at £12,998 and £13,721. Foreign currency assets were valued at £13,544 and £14,337.
