"On 01 April 2025, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) announced a change in GST reporting for around 3,500 small businesses with a history of non-payment or incorrect reporting. These businesses will be shifted from quarterly to monthly GST reporting to improve their compliance and ability to manage tax obligations."
