ANPD establishes integrity program and creates management committee

Summary:

On April 9, 2024, the Brazilian National Authority for Data Protection (ANPD) published Resolution CD/ANPD nu00c2u00ba 12, establishing its Integrity Program. The program aims to promote compliance, transparency, and prioritization of public interest, as well as a culture of delivering value to society. To operationalize the initiative, a Integrity Plan will be developed, defining measures to address identified risks. The ANPD also published Resolution CD/ANPD nu00c2u00ba 13, establishing a Permanent Commission for Integrity, Transparency, and Access to Information. This Commission will oversee and monitor issues related to integrity, transparency, and access to information within the ANPD, as well as monitor the implementation of the Integrity Plan.
