ANMAT establishes new procedures for importing and exporting food in accordance with Decree No. 35/25, which modifies Decree No. 2126/1971 of the Argentine Food Code.

"On 01 March 2024, the National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) made available new procedures and formalities managed through the Import and Export System (SIFEGA) for importing food destined for commercialization or exclusively industrial use in a facility (UPEI), or samples without commercial value or containers and utensils in contact with food. These procedures also apply to exporting, if required by the destination country."
