On 18/02/2025, the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) published Resolution Normative Nº 1.113, establishing a mandatory pre-communication requirement for the creditor to inform the defaulting agent in case of non-payment of Transmission System Usage Charges (EUST). The regulation also specifies that creditors can only remove debtors from the credit blacklist after a maximum of three days following confirmation of payment normalization by the debtor agent. This update aims to ensure timely communication and resolution of payment disputes.
