On February 12, 2024, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) released a report by Director Counselor Alexandre Freire on a proposal to alter the Satellite Exploration Right granted to SPACE EXPLORATION HOLDINGS, LLC. This change aims to increase the total number of satellites authorized in Brazil from 4,408 to 12,908 and add new radiofrequency bands for the Starlink system.
